Not a chase, but heating and surface winds pushing up the scarp assisted in lifting convection through the cap creating some interesting CB's. The first series of photos (14) taken at regular intervals from West Perth capture the first convection building and then dissipating (Radar showed the cell near Mt Helena). The rest of the photos show convection later in the day.
